idbi bank Housing Loan, Loan Against Property, Auto Loan, Education Loan & Personal Loan

Housing Loan, Loan Against Property, Auto Loan, Education Loan & Personal Loan

This scheme is intended for borrowers to mitigate the burden of debt servicing brought about by disruptions on account of Covid-19 pandemic and to ensure the continuity of viable businesses. There may be a temporary disruption in the Cash Flows, and in some cases loss of income, for the businesses/ individuals, the Scheme will bring relief to such borrowers. All those borrowers who have regular stream of cash flow should opt for continuation of the regular EMI.

  • What is the relief RBI has provided for retail loan under COVID 19- regulatory package ?

  • RBI has permitted Bank to grant a moratorium of three months on payment of all instalments falling due between March 1, 2020 and May 31, 2020. Hence Bank will not raise the instalment demand during this period and Borrowers availing this concession are not required to pay the Instalment during the period. Accordingly the residual tenor of repayment schedule will be extended by three months.

  • What is the process to be followed for getting the benefit of instalment moratorium?

  • The scheme will be applicable to all standard term loans under Housing Loan, Loan against Property, Auto Loan, Education Loan & Personal Loan as on March 1, 2020. Wherever the March 2020 instalment has already paid by the borrower, the relief would be applicable for the EMI payable in April 2020 and May 2020.

  • Since the instalments are not to be paid, how will the loan be adjusted?

  • Moratorium of three months on payment of EMI instalments falling due between March 1, 2020 and May 31, 2020 will be offered.  During the said moratorium period, Interest shall continue to accrue on the outstanding portion of the term loan. The Interest accrued during period of moratorium will be added to the outstanding loan amount at the end of the moratorium period and the repayment schedule for such loans will be reframed. Accordingly, the residual tenor will be shifted by three months.

  • What will happen after the relief period /moratorium is completed?

  • Interest shall continue to accrue on the outstanding portion of the term loans during the moratorium period and will be added in the loan amount outstanding which will result in marginal enhancement in balance reframed EMIs. The repayment schedule for such loans will be reframed and accordingly, the residual tenor, will be shifted by three months.

This will result in increased EMI and increased tenor of the loan. Please find below an illustration for loan
    of Rs.20 lakh outstanding as on April 1, 2020 @8.25% p.a.

Hdfc bank - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on EMI Moratorium

RBI Covid-19 Regulatory Package : EMI Moratorium

These are unprecedented times and it is a time that we need to be together to fight this COVID-19 crisis.

In line with the RBI guidelines and to show our solidarity in standing with you, HDFC Bank is offering it's customers EMI moratorium and credit card outstanding moratorium as a relief measure.

We understand in this current situation there may be disruptions in business leading to low cashflows or the earnings of individuals and self-employed professionals may have been impacted. Our aim through implementing this relief package is to ensure that you can continue to take care of your family, your business and your own self and tide over this temporary situation.

We advise you to stay safe and healthy and continue to bank from your home through our digital banking services.

Do check below on details of the EMI moratorium package and also guidance on how you can avail the EMI moratorium.

1. What is the EMI moratorium provided for loans under COVID 19 - regulatory package?
The prevailing situation may pose a huge challenge for people at large. As a measure of solidarity, RBI has permitted all Indian Banks / Indian Financial Institutions to offer it’s customers up to 3 months moratorium on their EMI payments falling due between Mar 1st, 2020 to May 31st, 2020.

2. Who is eligible?
All HDFC Bank customers who have availed of retail instalment loan or any other retail credit facilities prior to 1st March 2020 are eligible.
- Customers having overdues prior to 1st March 2020 may also opt for the moratorium, and their requests shall be considered by the bank based on its merits.

All Agri Loans (Kisan Gold Card) and Microfinance customers under the Bank’s Sustainable Livelihood Initiative are also eligible.

All Corporate as well as SME customers are also eligible. Our Relationship Managers will get in touch with you or you can contact them to get further details.

3. What will happen if I choose the EMI Moratorium?
If you choose EMI moratorium,
- Bank will not ask for any EMI Payment till May 31st 2020.

- Interest will continue to accrue on the principal outstanding for the period of the moratorium at the contracted rate of the loan.

- The loan tenure will get extended by the corresponding period for which the moratorium has been availed.

- For example, if the EMI for the month of Mar’2020 has been paid and moratorium for April & May’2020 has been availed, then the loan tenure will be extended by 2 months.

4. If I do not want the EMI moratorium, what should I do?
If you do not want the EMI moratorium, no further action is required from your side. We will continue to bank your repayment instructions.

We encourage customers with adequate funds to continue paying during this period to avoid the extra interest charges and tenor extension. However, if you skip your EMI payment during this period, it is understood that you require EMI moratorium till May 2020.

5. Why was my account debited when the RBI has announced a moratorium?

Opting for the Moratorium is entirely the customers’ choice. We understand that all our customers may not opt for the Moratorium given that there is an additional levy of interest payable under the terms of the Moratorium. If you wish to opt for the Moratorium, we would be happy to refund the EMI debited and register your Loan account under the Moratorium process.

6. What charges will I pay, if I avail of this EMI moratorium?
If you avail the EMI moratorium, there will be a levy of interest at the contracted rate of the loan for the period of EMI moratorium on the loan outstanding. Such interest will be collected by extending the original tenor of the loan accordingly.

- Illustration Auto Loan: Loan amount Rs. 8 Lacs, remaining tenor 36M, Last EMI on 7-Feb-23, opting for 3 months Moratorium i.e. Mar-20, Apr-20 & May-20 EMI. The additional interest would be about Rs. 25,500/-, and the resultant tenor would increase by four months, and the last EMI including the interest recovery would be on 7-Jun-23.

- Illustration Salaried Personal Loan: Loan amount Rs. 4 Lacs, remaining tenor 48M, Last EMI on 4-Mar-24, opting for 2 months Moratorium i.e. Apr-20, May 20 EMIs. The additional interest would be about Rs. 15,000/-, and the resultant tenor would increase by 1.4 EMI, and the last instalment (40% of regular EMI) would be on 4-Jul-24.

7. How do I get this EMI moratorium?
You will have to provide your consent to the bank through any of the following ways:

After you upload anything on social media, you're tempted to see how many likes you get? Who made the comments? What comments? Yes, such temptation must happen. This is also very natural. Many people are constantly watching, how much does the likelihood increase? Do you get upset if you got 200 likes in the previous post and 125 like the last post? What do you think of when liking someone else's post? Do you like it, or do you really like its post? Many people look at a photo and say, it looks like a wreck, even with so much talk they will do it again! We are now getting better on social media! If the boss has a post then you must like. We sometimes even grit our teeth in order to persuade the boss that, wow where are you!

Do you get angry if you've written a post, tagged it, and haven't seen it? It just so happens that he does not care? Suppose you saw it and didn't respond at all, do you feel bad? It is not necessary for everyone to be the same. Each action has different reactions. What happens if you upload status and you do not get one? Most people like the status quo itself. Like us first! The account must open with us. Are you jealous if your friend gets more likes from you?

Social media also runs for all likes, comments, and followers, as if a contest was won. This is considered by Criteria. The number of followers or friends on Instagram, Facebook and other social media shows their popularity. Celebrities are different, but when people join the race, they often suffer from depression. Miniature texts come out, I don't care.

Considering the psychological problems caused by social media, Facebook is considering a decision. From now on, you can only see the likes you get on Facebook. You will only be able to read the comments your post receives. Facebook has also made its experimental debut in Australia. From the results available in Australia, other countries will decide whether to apply it or not. By the way, do you like it or not? Other people also see the likes we get. Not only likes, who is reading what comments. Discussions and debates over comments also continue.

Facebook research revealed that those who get less likes are disturbed and have been casting their opinions on themselves. Many people delete the post only if they get less likes. As Facebook says, we don't want people to understand this as a competition. Facebook and Instagram are owned by Mark Zuckerberg. There has been such an experiment on Instagram in Canada. Youngsters have been turning to her since the advent of Instagram. Facebook is now called Youngsters Mom-Dead or Uncle-Aunty's social media. People also talk about caste on Facebook. Many people believe that, like before, they are not getting as much as they used to. There is also talk of people not posting what they post. Facebook wants Rs. To promote the post. Now God knows how much of this is true and how much wrong it is.

Most importantly, whether it is Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn or any other social media, do not consider it your
standard of eligibility or eligibility. Don't let social media get on your mind. Social media is just a way to stay connected with friends. Don't look at someone's fun photos and think that everyone is in concert and I'm alone or alone. Social media never estimates who is happy or who is hurt. There is more to hiding than what a man looks like. Get in touch with the people closest to you. Have a few relationships where you can talk all your heart out. Social media is a virtual world, and what is simulated is never true. If we take it as true, then it is our turn, not ours. Also keep track of how much time you spend on social media. If you spend more time with your people than you do on social media, think you are wrong. There is nothing bad or bad, technology is for us. If you like social media, definitely be active, just maintain proportion and stay awake with the impact on the mindset.
Social media is increasing the number of mental illnesses. Decide if I do not want to register my name in CyberSec. You must have heard that saying, extremely perpetual! The eye blows the key to everything. The eye is the ion of the heart. The eyes reflect on what is going on in the heart. When the heart is rash, the eyes are a bit shaky. The speed of breathing and the mind's mind also keep beating in the eyes. Even after closing your eyes, a lot of scenes continue. Even when sleeping, dreams do not allow the eye to jump. The eyes of the rider explain the fact of the night. The eyes have a language. The language is simple, but not everyone understands it. To understand the language of the eyes, the eyes need more than the eyes. Not everyone has that vision. We also don't like the way all our eyes solve the language. That right is only available to some people. We don't even have the right to all of them. That is why we are looking for angles to weep. Some corners of the house are a living witness to our suffering. There are also some angles in the heart where not everyone gets access. Its doors are open to some people. Where is the dampness of the corner of our eyes all used to?

It is also fun to cry. If someone is a hoarder! The tears may have seemed a little too dry when there was no shelter. Tears are unfortunate when dry on the cheeks. The tears shed by our person's salvation also result in salvation. Tears also have a dimension. It is also a small shock to the eye by shedding tears on the ground. There is also slight tremor in the throat when there is an earthquake in the eyes. Do you ever want to cry? Can you cry when you feel like it? Where can we even laugh when it comes to laughing? That's what a girl said. Yes i cry All alone Right in my presence. I release my sensation in the event of a tragedy. Only the witness of the tissue has a dignity to cry. The throaty doom flows through the eyes. No one knows. Sometimes even the thought goes, Who turns, with my wet eyes? The most privacy a man probably needs is to cry. This is a story of a young man. Whenever I would cry we would take the car and
drive away. The car stopped in a place nobody could see. One lit a cigarette and then cried at a smoke witness. Saying that is a thrill to see the smoke in the rainy eyes. There is also a shock. When my person was leaving at the crematorium, I have felt the wetness of the cheetah in my wet eyes. I look for him in the cigarette smoke with wet eyes when I remember him. Smoke is also a buzzword. It goes up and takes us down a few inside us. The monks perform a fumble, perhaps meaning the whole aura in smoke. Perhaps in the smoke he may feel the figure of the soul. Smoke is the ultimate truth. Our eyes witness the fumes of so many deadly events in our lives. Mourning can be described when the sensation dies.
Can you easily cry? A man who can never cry may be left out of a supernatural feeling. Crying is also a wet dialogue with oneself. Such dialogue becomes more intense in solitude. Tears are transparent like water. Tears are different than water. Tears flowing from the eyes to the lips reveal the taste of our mood. Post-mortem of tear drops is the cause of many life events. Tears are also happy. Will the tears of suffering and happiness be different? The taste may not be different, but the sensations are different. Whether we are praying for someone, wanting to see someone in a place, and when it is worthwhile, it seems that my prayers have been accepted. At that time, the tears that appear in the eyes give a shiver.

We are not always crying for ourselves, sometimes we are also crying for our person. Sad is it and wet eyes are ours. This is the story of two sisters. When a sister cries for some reason, her friend also starts to cry. The consolation of tears is also related to the tears. We can't see everybody crying. How much does someone's crying touch us? Why do we feel anxious when a baby is crying? The baby sometimes even laughs while crying. Why can't this happen after I grow up? Is Maturity Fooling Man? Do you feel like crying and being caught when someone comes up? Looking at the eyes of a young man his friend said, did you cry? Her friend told her to avoid saying no, eyes are burning! His friend said, eyes are burning or hearts are burning? Tell the truth, what is? Do you have someone whom you can call the real reason for your cry? Lucky to have someone who can cry. The man who laughs together cannot cry in front of everyone. Crying requires a special person.
